The Leadership Program (TLP)
The Leadership Program provides an after-school enrichment program for students in Pre-K. The program focuses on Leadership through the Arts, Social Emotional Learning, and Empowerment. The Leadership Program also offers Professional Development workshops for teachers, staff, and parent engagement workshops designed to meet the needs of the school community. The Leadership Program provides PS 81 with a Community School Director to ensure that all of the needs of the Community Schools Grant are met.

Global Kids (GK)
Global Kids provides an after-school program for students in grades K-5, Monday-Friday from 2:20 PM to 5:30 PM and during holiday breaks. The program provides safe, enriching spaces for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and engage with peers and mentors. This program culminates in youth-led projects and events where students showcase their learning and leadership skills to a broader audience.
Mission: Global Kids educates, inspires, and mobilizes youth to become global citizens who are positively engaged in the world and are prepared for their future.
Vision: Global Kids envisions a world where young people have the education, inspiration, and support they need to pursue their goals – a world where young people have an understanding of communities outside of their own, and the tools to grapple with complex issues that impact all of our lives. A world where young people have the resources to thrive, the confidence to achieve their goals, and the principles and passion to be a global citizen.
